Freedom Guide Dogs breeds and whelps new potential guide dog pups into our Guide Dog Program all year long. With a generous donation of $2,000 made to Freedom Guide Dogs you are able to Choose, Sponsor and Name an imPAWtant Freedom puppy who will help provide Freedom and Independence to someone in need.

If you are interested in sponsoring a Freedom Guide Dog Puppy please email Ashleigh@Freedomguidedogs.org from there you are able to inquire about upcoming litters including breeds, sex & color and names that you have in mind.
Photos & Updates of the puppy
During the duration of the puppy raising process, we will provide you with updates and pictures of the puppy you chose to sponsor, letting you know how and what your pup is up too.
Recognition on our Website, Facebook Page & Newsletter
Freedom is proud to provide recognition to those who choose to sponsor a special freedom puppy. With your permission we would do so by including your name on our website, social media platforms and in our newsletter as well.
Certificate once the pup becomes a working Guide Dog
If and when the puppy you chose to sponsor successfully completes formal training and is placed with a blind or visually impaired individual you will receive a certificate along with photos of your pup working with their handler.
Please Note:
Our mission is to breed, raise, train and place guide dogs with the blind and visually impaired, however there are certain circumstances where that may not happen.
It is possible that a puppy you sponsor may be selected to become part of our breeding stock and will help produce the future Freedom Guide Dog puppies.
It is also possible that the puppy you sponsor may not graduate from our Guide Dog Program for one reason or another.
A puppy you sponsor may be released and offered to another service dog program if we feel like the dog likes to work but isn’t suitable for guiding the blind.
You will be updated and we will let you know the outcome of what happens with the special puppy you sponsor. Your generous donation helps us continue to provide another pair of eyes to those who can not see and gives a name to a puppy with a purpose.
- Freedom Guide Dogs reserves the right to reject names that are deemed inappropriate or have been previously used.
- If the puppy is to be used for any promotional purposes, Freedom Guide Dogs is required, in writing to have the final approval on all advertising and promotions.
