A Legacy Built on Compassion
In 1992, Eric and Sharon Loori founded Freedom Guide Dogs with a simple yet powerful vision: to provide expertly trained guide dogs at no cost to individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
Together, they dedicated more than three decades to breeding, raising, training, and placing guide dogs while building an organization rooted in compassion, integrity, and service. Their unwavering commitment transformed thousands of lives and inspired a community of volunteers, donors, puppy raisers, and guide dog handlers who became part of the Freedom family.
Although Eric and Sharon are no longer with us, the mission they devoted their lives to continues. Every puppy born, every guide dog trained, and every partnership created is a reflection of the legacy they built.
