FAQS
How much time do i need to volunteer?
Aside from becoming a Puppy Raiser, the amount of time you give is entirely up to you! Most volunteer opportunities are scheduled by volunteers choosing to sign up for a specific event/date or time. (We understand things happen and if something occurs where a volunteer puppy raiser is unable to finish out the raising of a puppy in their care, that’s ok! We will call the puppy back to campus and find a finishing raiser for that puppy.)
Do I Need Qualifications?
No! You do not even need to have prior experience owning a dog before. We will provide you with the proper training and knowledge to ensure you are comfortable handling and working around dogs and puppies.
None of these FAQs answer my questions, what do i do now?
Please contact us directly and we would be more than happy to assist you with any additional volunteering questions you may have. Email- info@freedomguidedogs.org
Will I get training?
Yes- Depending on which volunteer opportunity you select we will ensure you have proper training to fulfil your volunteer role to the best of your ability!
